Siamo pronti per la prima gara ufficiale nella nostra fortezza. Siamo pronti nuovamente a vivere le emozioni che solamente la Fc Matese riesce a donarci. Siamo pronti a tornare a vincere, anche per mettere a tacere le tante voci di cialtroni che cercano solamente di destabilizzare tutto il nostro idilliaco ambiente. Saremo al ‘Pasqualino Ferrante’ per riscattare subito il ko dell’esordio di campionato: serve una reazione d’orgoglio di un gruppo che non è mai stato così coeso. Alcune persone ripugnanti hanno ‘avvicinato’ alcuni nostri calciatori ad altre realtà della nostra provincia: mai notizia è stata più falsa. Nessun nostro atleta ha mai manifestato la volontà di lasciare la Fc Matese e se prendiamo come esempio il nostro bomber, Luis Maria Alfageme, dobbiamo sottolineare che sta lavorando al massimo, agli ordini di mister Corrado Urbano, per tornare subito a fare la differenza coi nostri colori addosso. Un risentimento muscolare (capitatogli in occasione del test match col Giugliano) gli ha negato la gioia della prima trasferta ma sarà protagonista nei prossimi giorni per segnare ed esultare con tutti noi. I pettegolezzi li lasciamo a chi non ama questa realtà, a pseudo tifosi che trovano più giovamento dalle sconfitte che dai successi. Puntualmente la nostra dirigenza viene offesa da persone che hanno dimostrato, nel corso del tempo, tutto il proprio (misero) valore. Qui forse non tutti stanno capendo che stiamo vivendo quella che in passato era la Serie C2: giocatori che si allenano alle 15 del pomeriggio e che sono costretti a ‘sobbarcarsi’ 200 km al giorno per gli allenamenti. Diteci voi se questo può essere chiamato dilettantismo. Ma nonostante ciò abbiamo, nell’ultima stagione, realizzato un sogno col penultimo budget della Serie D: sfido chiunque a dire il contrario e soprattutto a trovare un’altra realtà che sia riuscita nella stessa impresa. E’ successo pochi mesi fa ma è giusto ricordarlo: abbiamo conquistato i play off per l’accesso alla C. Questo indica che la dirigenza ha operato nel migliore dei modi, abbiamo portato in giro per l’Italia il nostro territorio e la nostra splendida gente. Noi siamo il Matese e non dobbiamo dimenticarlo mai. Serve restare uniti, le critiche fanno bene solo se costruttive. Noi abbiamo un sogno nel futuro che farà brillare gli occhi a tutti, ma vogliamo viverlo con tutti voi! Stateci vicini!
